The McAllen Federation of Teachers participated in the Texas Federation of Teachers Lobby Day on March 12, 2007. Lobby day is an event held once every two years during spring break while the Texas Legislature is in session. At that time, TFT members from around the state "Get on the Bus" to Austin to lobby legislators for better pay and working conditions. Click here to view photos.
